Testing/Evaluation

North Park Theological Seminary prepares men and women for ministry through both academic training and spiritual formation.   To that end, students are evaluated both in regards to their academic studies and to their readiness for ministry, both spiritually and emotionally.

Students must participate in a first-year evaluation. These evaluations do not occur until after a student has completed

DEGREE CREDITS
MACM 12
MACF 18
MDiv 18

** Where timing is appropriate, a SemConnect student should plan for this during a SemConnect Immersion. Otherwise, first-year evaluation will be scheduled for the first on-campus intensive after the student accumulates the minimum number of credits.

Click here for the document on all tests and evaluations that are required for all degree-seeking and orientation students.  Certificate and Diploma students are only required to take the Nelson Denny Reading Test upon entering the seminary.

If you have further questions, or if you are a student and need to make arrangements for testing and / or evaluations, then please contact Seminary Student Services at semservices@northpark.edu.
