GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP TEAM

The GP Team consists of 6-8 students who meet weekly for the full academic year to seek God's will for mission on North Park's campus. 

COMMITMENT:
Team Members should be:
· passionate about serving God
· willing to utilize and grow in leadership and facilitation skills
· have a heart for global and local missions
· willing to share their time, thoughts, strengths and energy implementing the GP vision
· interested in learning about the theology of missions and social justice
· interested in implementing more long-term programs back in Chicago, on campus, and through international internships

Program's goals:
·
participate and support GP Team in the following areas: fundraising all different special events, planning/logistics, global awareness/mission theology
· creative and/or detailed oriented
· willing to pray for the campus and what goes on around the world
· interested in being challenged and sharpening their skills
· Moving from short-term trips to long-term impact—connecting campus to our partners, and our participants to this city’s

Events and responsibilities
·
Involved in vision and strategy for strengthening our partnerships and increasing campus awareness of our partner locations.
· The annual fall GP Expo is designed to recruit students for GP trips and allow people interested in trips the opportunity to meet trip leaders and find out more about each trip.
The GP Auction is one of the team’s biggest events. It is our main fundraising event which requires a major team effort.
· Pray for teams that are going to our partner locations
