PRAYER
The Prayer Leadership Team (PLT) exists both to (A) consistently and passionately pray for the North Park University campus and the individual concerns of its members and to (B) mobilize prayer throughout the campus by initiating, planning and leading prayer related events. Two students co-lead this team in the accomplishment of these two equally important goals.
Participation on this team includes the following commitments:
Developing a passionate faith in action
› A passion to pray for others
› Maintenance of a personal prayer, devotion and worship life
› Understanding of the spiritual formation strategy of University Ministries
› Embrace and support of the vision and mission of the Prayer Leadership Team
› Attendance at regular team meetings (about 1.5 hours per weekly meeting)
› Willingness and ability to hold all prayer requests in confidence
› Responsibility for the organization and execution of one aspect or area of the prayer related events, including but not limited to prayer chapels, midnight prayer times, pre-/post- worship prayer (about 2 hours a week), prayer walk, Call to the Nations, and prayer for UMin staff
› Accountability to co-leaders and all team members
› A two semester commitment
