Students, faculty, and staff are invited once a week to attend these campus worship services that include music, prayer, and teaching. The campus pastor, members of the community, and speakers from across the country engage our hearts and minds with the truth of Scripture and challenge us to live it out in practical ways. A variety of worship styles drawn from various traditions, from contemporary to classical, African-American to Hispanic, liturgical to free, make each service something unique.
This year, as our North Park community asks, “What is a life of faith?” our Chapel program will explore topics such as worship, ethics, community, calling, stewardship, and struggle. Chapel takes place every Wednesday morning at 10:30 in Anderson Chapel.

60 Ways To Say, “Here I Am”
Several weeks ago Princess Kasune Zulu was with us for Chapel and shared a powerful message from the book of Esther. The service also included a video called “A Thousand Questions,” featuring North Park grad, Sharon Irving. In response, UMin leaders came up with 60 Ways to Say, “Here I Am”.
October 15, 2008 Closing Prayer
Most holy and merciful Father, we confess to you and to the whole communion of saints;
We are impatient and bored.
We are often undisciplined and irresponsible.
We confess to you, Lord.
We are not sensitive enough to others.
And we are too sensitive to ourselves.
We confess to you, Lord.
We care about the poor and oppressed.
We also care about our nice buildings, our comfortable furniture, our HD TVs, three indulgent meals a day, our laptops, our cell phones, our blackberries, our iPhones, our iPods, our Facebook profiles.
We confess to you Lord.
We have taken the authority in our lives that is rightly yours. We no longer look to you.
We have given that authority to these idols and sought approval from others instead of you.
We confess to you Lord.
